La última película de animación producida por Robert Zemeckis saldrá en Estados Unidos
En los últimos años Robert Zemeckis ha impulsado el cine de animación por captura de movimiento, tecnología que ha permitido logros como el Gollum de la trilogía de el Señor de los Anillos o títulos tan estimables como Beowulf o la próxima adaptación de Tíntín al cine de la mano de Spielberg y Peter Jackson.
Su última producción es Marte necesita madres, dirigida por Simon Wells. La película ha sido un rotundo fracaso económico y crítico, lo cual ha provocado la vuelta de Zemeckis al cine de imagen real, abandonando proyectos como el remake de el submarino amarillo de los Beatles.
‘Saca la basura, cómete el brócoli’ ¿Quién necesita aguantar a una madre? Pero cuando unos marcianos secuestran a su madre, Milo (Seth Green), un niño de nueve años, se da cuenta de cuánto la necesita. Quieren arrebatarle su ‘maternalidad’, es decir su esencia de madre, para dársela a los cachorros de su especie.
Disney ha anunciado el lanzamiento del film en Estados Unidos como combo Blu-ray+DVD o combo Blu-ray3D+Blu-ray+DVD+copia digital par el día 9 de agosto.

El Blu-ray contará con una pista de audio DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 en inglés y pistas de audio y subtítulos en inglés, francés, español ( no está confirmado si será castellano o latino) y portugués.
